Last Friday was my last day of school, and today I have my little graduation thing going on. I'm not too excited about it since, well, I don't know...it's just my Assoicates. I'm just glad school is finally over and it's SUMMER! I'm heading up to Santa Barbara on the 26th of this month to hang with Nico Pico for her 20th bday, that shall be smashin'. As for the rest of the summer...well, I think my parents were talking about going to Europe, Yellowstone, or on some kind of a cruise. It's all up in the air now.
So, on Tuesday, it was my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. Twenty-five years! That's pretty much a milestone, just imagine knowing someone practically your whole bloody life!?! Anyhow, on Tuesday night, I saw Regina Spektor at the El Rey Theater with my friend, Paul. I don't even have words to describe how amazing her performance was. She kicked double ass at playing piano/guitar, singing, and performing. She sang Ghost of Corporate Future (one of my favorites), Poor Little Rich Boy, Samson, Baby Jesus, Prisoners, Marry Ann, Sailor Song, Carbon Monoxide, and much much much more. Oh, and during Poor Little Rich Boy, she was playing piano while banging a stick on a chair...I know, it sounds awkward but I was in awe. All I know is that I need to see her perform again, or I'll just have to book her at my wedding.

so, today was pretty unproductive. i ditched school because all we had were presentations in sociology and mine wasn't today. in bio, we had a lecture and i always zone out in those; instead, i slept in till 12ish. then i called off work and hung out with my friend davey.

-school wise: two papers to write that are both due on monday, stats test on monday, sociology is a breeze, and for biology...i hate it.
-people wise: eh, well, some stink and some smell like roses.
oh, don't you love it when you're taking a biology test and the guy behind you won't shut up, because he's whispering the question outloud to himself for a whole hour and a half. >:[
however, i did got a new job today and i'm quitting my old one tomorrow. |

I went in to see my councilor today and he informed me that I was placed in the wrong english class. wtf?! yeah, I guess when I was enrolling the other stupid councilor told me to be in this one english class, but obviously, he was wrong. Gawd...two months wasted! I knew this class was way easier than it seem. So, now I can drop my english class. *Sigh, I guess that just means I only have school on Tuesday and Thursdays. Yay. |
